During lockdown I researched the coping mechanisms of young people in isolation. I started a conversation with a select group, each with a different coping mechanism. They provided me personal audiovisual material that provides insight into their own coping mechanisms. I made an audiovisual portrait of the material they provided me, ranging from sketches and notes to voice messages and photos. These portraits serve as a starting point of the conversation on the Big Deal platform. The audiovisual portraits are part of an installation called Big Deal, where a test can be taken, portraits can be viewed and insights can be shared by means of physical and visible notes.
